Gabriela is GuateMAYAN Woman who stands for internal and external integrity as she brings forward wisdom and resources to deepen our reverence to ancient traditions and medicines in the modern world by bridging the two.
Gabriela is working on various preservation projects alongside Nana Marina and Tata Pedro Cruz from the Tz'utujil Mayan group in Guatemala. She is the founder of SNEHA Sacred, a market and meeting place to gather and support Wisdom Keepers and Indigenous elders.

Somatic Trauma Coach & Breathwork Facilitator
Nathasya is the founder of AKKU Holistic Health, a Somatic Trauma Coach, Breathwork Teacher, and the host of 'Resilient Chat with Nat' Podcast.
Bridging modern and ancient wisdom, she specializes in guiding leaders of all genders to release their past trauma and regulate their emotions through mind, body & soul connection so they can finally be free and thrive in their life. She is known for her sensitivity and the deep release and embodied work she brings to her sessions and workshops.

She primarily shares shamanic medicine directly from Great Mother Earth and Great Father Sky (where the name Rock-Star Shaman comes from) but has also learned from many Indigenous and non-Indigenous spiritual elders and master shamans across the world. She works with various non-profits such as ANIWA and the BOA Foundation, to honor the sacred truths and locations of our planet.
Her online shamanic journeying course, Spirit School, is open for enrollment and her book, POWER ANIMALS, will be out next fall.

Florencia Fridman is a self-empowerment artist working with heart opening therapies involving holistic nutrition, ceremonial grade Cacao, yoga, sound, and breath as instruments for transformation.
Florencia studies under Tz'utujil Mayan elder Nana Marina Cruz from Guatemala.
She is the co-Founder of Cacao Lab, a Ceremonial Cacao brand aiming to bridge the gap between the modern culture and the indigenous communities.

As the mission for Womxn empowered is to empower others in their truth, power and essence.
This event will also be serving as a fundraiser to highlight and support the work of Mayan Guides and Wisdom Keepers who have kept, honored, cultivated, and held their traditions with integrity, reverence and devotion despite the challenges they have faced over the years.
They are of HUGE INSPIRATION to us in being empowered in who we truly are, and being fully expressed.
ALL donations will go directly to Mayan elders Nana Marina, Tata Pedro and their communities to support the continuation of their work and traditions.

TATA PEDRO CRUZ
TATA PEDRO CRUZ is one of the few surviving members of the Mayan Council of the Elders of Tz’utujil, which is a branch of the Maya Qui-che. “Tata Pedro,” as he is most affectionately known, is a traditional Mayan Ajq’ij and Day Keeper, and one of the principal authorities of the Council of Mayan Elders of Lake Atitlan in Guatamala. He received the title “Heart of the Lake Atitlan” K’U’XYA by his fellow Mayan Council of Elders and Tz’utujil people. Tata Pedro recognizes the interconnectedness of all people, the expanding consciousness of the planet, and the urgent need to unify our spiritual, cultural, and ethnic wisdom for the benefit of the planet and humanity. Tata Pedro is a globally recognized elder in the Mayan tradition and has traveled far and wide sharing knowledge, ceremonies, and practices. He is the interpreter of dreams for his community and a leader of the preservation and education of Mayan day keeping and fire ceremonies.
Nana Marina Cruz
Nana Marina is a carrier of ancient Mayan wisdom, serving as a leader of multiple ceremonial medicines and modalities, specializing in the healing magic of Cacao, Pataxte, and Tobacco, as well as serving as a Fire Keeper and Sweat Lodge Facilitator for her Nation. Nana Marina’s mission is to ensure the healing and restoration of humanity, and as such has traveled the world to serve multiple communities and share these beautiful gifts of purification rituals with the intent to promote harmony in our planet. She is the daughter of Tata Pedro Cruz.
